A great inning by Shan Masood took Pakistan to 326 before the final session on day 2 of the first Test against England in Manchester. Also Shadab Khan All rounder scored 45 runs. Masood and Shadab added 105 runs for the sixth wicket. Stuart Broad and Jofra Archer picked up 3 wickets each while Chris Woakes All-rounder picked two 2 wickets.

After Afridi, Mohammad Abbas paceman came into action and get back-to-back two wickets. First, he sent Dominic Sibley (8) back to the pavilion, and then in his next over, Abbas gets a big wicket of Ben Stokes.

Well, then Ollie Pope and Joe Root tried t bring the situation in control as thee pair added 50-runs, But after that Pakistan spinner, Yasir Shah dismissed Joe Root for 14.

Earlier, England started the second day by getting the wicket of Babar Azam (69) but they couldn't stop Shan Masood to score a century as an opener since Saeed Anwar 1996 in England.

On Day 2 of the three matches series, As Pope and Jos Buttler unbeaten on 46 and 15 and England reached 61/4. For the visitors, Afridi and Shah 1 wicket each while While Abbas and Naseem Shah went wicketless.
